Chronic Myeloid Leukemia (CML) at National Referral Hospital in Indonesia

Chronic Myeloid Leukemia (CML) is a myeloproliferative neoplasm characterized by the presence of Philadelphia chromosome and BCR-ABL fusion oncogene. CML one illnesses that may be treated using Tyrosine Kinase Inhibitors (TKIs), type targeted therapy. Since TKIs are standard therapy, long-term survival has improved compared to chemotherapy interferon-alpha. For first-line treatment for CML, there four commercially available serve as an integral part disease management. However, many challenges in diagnosing, treating, monitoring patients with chronic phase Indonesia.
